The Blackberry Classic was delivered very quickly and communication with the carrier was very good, keeping me informed several times as to the estimated delivery time which was met spot on.
I had to buy the phone on line without having it seen first and discuss the functions with a fully trained sales person.
I had bought the phone because it comes with an )2 contract. However, a guru in the shop who transferred my contacts over to the new phone told me that I had not a contract with them. O2 had been subcontracted to carry the traffic. Consequently I will loose locally available support by a real person rather than to have to rely on FAQ's and forums.
Secondly, I had not been able to install my ntlword email address. The phone only provides preset fields for Google mail, Hotmail. The Guru could not help and referred me to the Virgin shop next. They could not help either. I rung Virgin and they gave me incorrect information over the phone.
On the fourth day since having my phone I am still without my vital ntlworld email account. I am thinking of returning the phone.
I had no such problem on the Blackberry Curve phone and naturally assumed that facilities would be the same if not better.
